Uniform Patrol Division

The Albany County Sheriff’s Uniform Patrol Division which is located in Voorheesville, New York, provides 24 hour primary police services to the “Hilltowns” of Albany County and supplemental police services to many towns and villages in Albany County.   Members assigned to the Sheriff’s Patrol responded to 11,590 calls for service during 2008 and made 834 arrests. Deputy Sheriffs responded to 3,426 Complaints, 1,740 Fire & EMS calls, 681 Auto Accidents, 158 Domestic Incidents, 429 Alarm activations and 252 road hazards.
