Requests for Reports

To obtain a copy of a report you must send a written request to the address listed below.  Be sure to include your name, return address, the date of the incident, report number and payment.  Payments must be made payable to the "Albany County Sheriff's Office" (see fee schedule).

You may also click the on the link below and send your request electronically, however reports will not be released until payment is received. 

All Freedom of Information requests are handled through the Albany County Clerk's Office.  You may visit www.albanycounty.com and follow the link to the County Clerk's website for additional information on F.O.I.L. requests.

FEES:            Accident Reports:    $13.00

                       Incident Reports:      $ 6.00
